We're upfront about how we handle your info - no corporate jargon, just straight talk.
Effective Date: October 24, 2025
Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But since you're here, we'll make this as painless as possible.
Quantarisaga Fitness operates out of Vancouver, BC, and we're serious about protecting your personal info. This policy explains what data we collect when you train with us, book sessions, or just browse our site. We're not in the business of selling your data or spamming you with nonsense.
By using our facility, website, or services, you're agreeing to the terms laid out here. If something doesn't sit right with you, hit us up at info@quantarisaga.info and let's talk about it.
When you sign up or book sessions, we need the basics: your name, email, phone number, and address. Pretty standard stuff - can't really run a membership program without knowing who you are.
Since we're dealing with high-performance training, we'll ask about your fitness history, injuries, medical conditions, and goals. This isn't us being nosy - it's so we don't accidentally have you deadlifting 400 pounds when you've got a dodgy lower back. We also track your performance metrics, body composition, and training progress because that's literally why you're paying us.
Credit card details, billing address - the usual payment stuff. We use secure payment processors, so your card info doesn't just sit on our server collecting dust.
When you're on our website, we collect IP addresses, browser types, device info, and how you navigate the site. It helps us figure out if the site's actually working or if people are rage-quitting on our contact form.
We're not just collecting this stuff for fun. Here's what we actually do with it:
We're not in the business of selling your data to random companies. But there are a few situations where we might share your info:
We work with payment processors, scheduling software, and email platforms. These companies need access to some of your data to do their job, but they're contractually obligated to keep it secure and not use it for their own purposes.
If you've specifically asked us to coordinate with your physio, doctor, or nutritionist, we'll share relevant fitness and health info with them. But only with your explicit permission - we're not just calling up random medical professionals.
If the law says we gotta hand over information, we will. Court orders, government requests, that sort of thing. We'll push back if we think it's unreasonable, but we're not going to jail for anybody.
If we ever sell the business or merge with another gym, your data would be part of that transfer. Don't worry - the new owners would still be bound by this privacy policy.
We take security pretty seriously. Your data's encrypted when it's transmitted and when it's stored. We use industry-standard security measures - firewalls, secure servers, regular security audits, the whole deal.
Access to your personal information is limited to staff who actually need it to do their jobs. Our trainers can see your fitness data, but the front desk person doesn't need access to your medical history.
That said, no system's 100% bulletproof. We do our best, but if there's ever a data breach, we'll let you know ASAP and tell you what happened and what we're doing about it.
On your end, keep your account password secure. Don't share it with your gym buddy or write it on a sticky note next to your computer. Basic stuff, but you'd be surprised.
Yeah, we use cookies. Not the edible kind, unfortunately.
These keep the website functioning - things like remembering you're logged in or keeping items in your shopping cart. Can't really turn these off without breaking the site.
We use these to see how people use the site - which pages get visited, where people click, how long they stick around. Helps us figure out what's working and what's confusing. We use tools like Google Analytics for this.
These track your browsing to show you relevant ads. If you've been checking out our strength programs, you might see ads for them later. You can disable these through your browser settings if they bug you.
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Just be aware that turning off essential cookies will probably make the site unusable.
Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA and BC's privacy legislation), you've got some rights when it comes to your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, shoot us an email at info@quantarisaga.info or call us at (604) 287-5943. We'll verify your identity first (can't just hand out data to anyone who asks), then take care of your request.
Our services are designed for adults and athletes who are at least 16 years old. If you're younger than that, we need a parent or guardian's consent before you can sign up or use our services.
We don't knowingly collect personal information from kids under 16 without parental consent. If you're a parent and think your kid's given us their info without your permission, contact us immediately and we'll delete it.
For youth athletes (16-18), we still recommend having a parent or guardian involved, especially when it comes to health information and training plans. High-performance training isn't something to mess around with when you're still developing.
We might update this privacy policy from time to time. Laws change, our services evolve, and sometimes we just realize we could explain things better.
When we make changes, we'll update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. If it's a major change that significantly affects how we handle your data, we'll send you an email or post a notice on our website.
It's worth checking back here occasionally to see if anything's changed. We know reading privacy policies isn't exactly thrilling, but staying informed is important.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. But honestly, talk to us first - we'd rather sort it out directly.
Seriously, most people just scroll to the bottom and click "Accept." We appreciate you taking the time to understand how we protect your information.
